Case study

GreenEarth Agro, public site

The public face of the same business whose internal systems I built. Farming, processing, land leasing and biomass, explained to buyers, landowners and partners who have never seen the factory.

The problem

GreenEarth had an operation and no public face. Buyers, landowners considering a lease, and partners looking at biomass all arrived by word of mouth and left with whatever impression a phone call gave them.

The audiences want different things. A buyer wants to know what is processed and at what quality. A landowner wants the leasing terms. A biomass partner wants to know what happens to the by-products. One page that tries to speak to all three at once speaks to none of them.

What was built

One route per audience rather than one page with everything on it: what we do, the model, land leasing, biomass, impact, contact. Each answers the question its reader actually arrived with, and the navigation makes that obvious before they scroll.

Having built the internal systems first turned out to matter. I already knew how the sourcing model works, where the by-products go, and what the company can honestly claim, so the copy did not need a round of corrections to stop overstating things.

In hindsight

Live at gearthagro.com. The same business now has an internal system and a public face built by the same person, which is the reason the two agree with each other.
